True Story: Rediscovering Yourself through the Storyline of Your Life
August 4-August 8
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
"One of the functions of art is to give people the words to know their own experience... Storytelling is a tool for knowing who we are and what we want."- Ursula K. Le Guin In this course we’ll guide you in playfully tapping into your imagination and natural storytelling skills in order to dream into the next chapter of your life - one you’ll be excited to live into - by helping you see the story of who you are. This is a great course for those who feel on the verge of a transition, new self, new way of being in the world, or feel unsure about what is next. And it will bring clarity to those who have played with the idea of maybe writing your life story for yourself, family or to be published. No writing experience needed, just curiosity. Side effects may include: Radical acceptance of your life story, the good, the bad and the ugly. Greater self-compassion. A deeper connection with your own authentic voice (especially helpful for you creatives.) Permission to be fully you.
