I know I sure didn't. In fact, despite being born a baby mystic with peace to spare, I ended up diving into a 30 plus year writing/producing career as if it were a race to an unreachable finish line, that could only be fueled by angst. Thankfully I woke up and found a more peaceful way. A way that blew my creativity and joy wide open. And now I consider it my mission to use all my hard earned wisdom, compassion and spidey senses to help other creatives find their peace, too. The side effects are fantastic!

Do you have creative peace?

Might it be time to change your relationship with your creativity?

If so, then sign up now for our newest program, The Path To Creative Peace, which is designed to be a balm for the creative soul.

Much in the spirt of The Artist’s Way, this interactive program is equally good for newbies and professionals alike. You’ll know it’s right for you if you find that you long to…

  • Heal your connection with your creativity.

  • Liberate your truest creative voice.

  • And adopt a creative lifestyle you can settle into for the long haul.

It features a combo of monthly community check ins (on Zoom), weekly journal prompts/challenges, daily practice co-writing calls and quarterly 1/2 day virtual retreats, that will help you release all the blocks, limitations and saboteurs that have been getting in the way of your creative freedom, and therefore peace.

But most importantly it will connect you with a community that “gets it and sees you” because they are on the same path too. Creatives helping creatives. We need each other.

  • You feel fully connected to your inner creative source, and are confident in your ability to tap into it, at will.

  • When working on creative projects, you are able to relax into the process, trusting that the creative ahas will show up, as you need them.

  • You understand, and even expect, the ebbs and flows inherent in the creative process, and can surf with it (rather than fight the tide).

  • You can bend time, allowing projects to take the time they take, even while on someone else’s deadline.

  • You’re fearless in your allowance of your full range of creative expression, without need for pre-censure, or overt control, over the myriad of surprising forms your creativity might want to take.

  • You feel so grounded and confident in who you are as a creative, that you can defend your visions AND remain happily open to outside inspirations, simultaneously.

  • You have no need to prove anything to anyone in order to justify your time spent in creative pursuits. Because you know that, much like breathing, regularly tapping into your creative, is simply something you must do in order to live a healthy and vibrant life.

Obviously this kind of creative peace is a spectrum, and something we are always working towards. But once you start working towards it, a funny thing happens: suddenly some of those things listed above become effortless, and it starts to unlock the ability to work on the others.

Which of the above descriptions do you feel like you'd like to be working on this year? Which one's could really make a difference in your life, if you were able to master them? You can get started today. All you have to do is sign up below.

Signs that you have Creative Peace?

Holly Payberg-Torroija is an award-winning writer, producer, Second City grad, and former Hollywood development exec, who found her true joy in helping fellow creatives.

In 2020 she created her signature writing program, Loving The Process, which has helped countless writers get out of their heads and into their hearts so they can write the stories they were born to write.

In 2024 Holly officially teamed up with Kelly Carlin-McCall (Emmy Award Winning Documentarian / Memoirist / Jungian Depth Psychologist / Dream Tender) and her Humans on The Verge community, in order to expand her work to Memoir writers and to creatives of all stripes who are seeking new ways to get past old blocks. Her mission is to give creatives the kind of support she wished she would have had and to guide them on their path to creative peace.

About Your Facilitator

  • “Holly’s support of me is beyond anything I have had in my life. She doesn’t rush me. Doesn't make me feel guilty. She gives me permission to stumble and find my way creatively, without judgment. There are only a couple of things I need in my life right now, and this class with her is one of them.”

    —Nicole (Screenwriter/Actress)

  • "Everyone told me to sit down and write my story. Never would I ever want to do anything anyone ever told me to do. Holly is the first coach who did not tell me to sit down. She only asked me to show up. I took the leap. I showed up. The amount of creativity that has poured out of me so willingly now is immeasurable. I still do not have to sit down. I run to show up for me and the endless creativity I have still inside. Take the leap. I promise you will fly.”

    —Noelle (Writer/Director)

  • Holly's Heart of The Story Intensive took me from having lost the thread and motivation to write the book I wanted to write to enthusiasm, clarity and a whole new angle. Her ability to make me feel safe enough to explore new areas and depths is profound. I think she’s a writing witch!

    —Kelly (Writer/Producer/Podcaster)

  • Holly's courses are not just about writing, they are a deep dive into what feeds your soul. An exploration of who you are, what your goals truly are and how you'd like to achieve them through the written word.
